MAGIC WEED KILLER & TRIGGER HOSE
Magic Weed Killer contains 60g/l acetic acid as a ready-to-use formulation for the control of weeds on areas not intended to bear vegetation and unwanted vegetation.
Each order includes a Trigger Hose (Remote Tube and C28 white trigger with 38mm Screw Cap).
DO NOT USE ON LAWNS. FOR USE ONLY AS AN AMATEUR MOSSKILLER AND WEEDKILLER.
WHEN TO USE:
Magic Weed Killer is a non-selective weed and moss killer active against most soft plant tissue with which it comes into contact.
Weeds and moss are controlled by covering their foliage completely and evenly with spray.
After spraying, the foliage of treated weeds and moss begins to wither and die, effects become visible within 4 hours with full control after 24 hours.
Plant roots are not killed, and new foliage may grow, particularly from the roots of perennial weeds.
Annual weeds and moss with small roots die back completely but re-treatment will usually be necessary, especially to keep down perennial weeds.
Use to achieve control of weeds and moss best results are achieved against tender, small weeds, and moss less than 10cm high.
Ideally, spray in spring and repeat as necessary over the growing season, up to a maximum of 6 applications per year with an interval of 7 days between applications. A 5L covers up to 50 square metres.
WHERE TO USE:
May be used to control weeds and moss in unplanted areas of the garden, and around buildings where weed control is required. Keep spray off vegetables, flowers, shrubs, and lawns.
*Dependent on weather conditions.
HOW TO USE:
Attach the hose lock trigger then turn the nozzle to the ‘ON’ position.
Spray the foliage of the weeds or moss completely and evenly until fully wetted, but avoid spray run off from the leaves (no more than 100ml/m²). After spraying turn the nozzle to the ‘OFF’ position.
Repeat after 14 days against surviving weeds and moss if necessary, or when fresh growth is seen.
Apply on a dry day when rain is not expected.
Do not apply where rainfall is expected within 6 hours of application.
Rain after spraying may wash spray from the leaves and lead to a poor result.
After spraying keep people and animals off the dense patches of weeds and moss until the spray has dried, often just 15-20 minutes.
However, this is not necessary for treated areas containing only occasional, low, or prostrate weeds and moss such as may be found on pathways.
May cause some surfaces to become slippery for a short time after spraying.
There are no residual effects in the soil. Sowing or planting may be undertaken as soon as the weeds or moss have died.
Environmental Protection:
Do not apply where rainfall is expected within 6 hours of application. Direct spray away from ponds and other surface water bodies.
Storage: Keep away from food and drink.
